Basic Facts Term 3 2021

 Here is my latest basic facts test.

We have to answer 60 questions in 3 minutes to pass that level. I am working below/at/above the level I should be on.

Maths And Shapes

We are learning how to look at numbers, how they work and how you can group them. We did an activity called Numbers as shapes. It’s a bit like algebra thinking. Here is my work:

Statistics Learning

 Over the last 3 weeks we have been learning about statistics in maths

I know that a graph title, x and ya xis labelled.I know how to write a statement about my graph.

We learnt how to use a spread sheet to make a chart using our own data.

Created Game

This week to end our procedure writing topic, we have been creating our own games. I made a digital
board game. My theme was a swamp.

For maths we have been working on our basic facts. Everyday we do a maths grid of basic facts.

We have been learning solve addition and subtraction problems using place value. We had to complete these problems using this strategy. I feel happy about it because I finished it.

Basic Facts Term 4.

We have been working on answering basic facts questions quickly and instantly.

I should be working on Stage 5. 

I am at Stage 4. I got 44 out of 60.

Today is pet day also my birthday.We made vaseline saucers  using flower petels.Here is my sauser.

Maths

For maths we have been working in mixed ability groups to solve problems.

The focus has been solving word problems using place value. We have to

select the correct the correct strategy to solve the problem. I have chosen

two problems to show you how I work them out.
